The recipes used to produce Antique are essentially the same as those used in the production of EspaГѓВ±a. Through the use of advanced finishing techniques, the surface of this product is lightly antiqued to produce an elegant patina reminiscent of a gracefully aged leather.

Capri is the combination of old world craft and modern day technology which produces an innovative 100% vegetable tanned full grain leather. Capri is tanned with a unique vegetable extract which comes from the Peruvian Tara plant. Tara is a very clear tanning agent that will not impact the natural beauty and coloration of the aniline dyes.

Haired hides are cowhides with their hair intact. Haired hides are avilable for immediate delivery in all 8 standard (HH) colors. Among this selection are the tri-color (brown, black, and white) and black and white haired hides which reveal unique naturalistic markings. The markings found on these hides are one-of-a-kind.
This two toned leather is clearly in a class by itself. Hand Tipped is crafted from a premium selection of full grain raw material. The pebble grain character is the result of a specific retannage formulation and extended milling process.
All leather rugs have and integral black felt backer which extends 1/4 in. around the perimeter of the leather surface. The thread color will match the large leather square, unless otherwise specified. A final Layer of non-slip rubber backer is attached at one end of the rug.

Marissa is dyed twice. The second bath deepens the color and further enriches the leather.
