About Quentin Rance
Quentin Rance ASID CID FCSD began his career in Interior Design in England when he entered into a five year apprenticeship with an extremely well respected design company.
This thorough grounding in the basics of Interior Design as proved many times over to be of tremendous help in evaluating contracts and dealing with them in a professional manner.
Before he established his company in Los Angeles in the 1980s, he ran his own highly successful Interior Design practice in London for many years. His contracts included:
The Bank of England, Shell International, Imperial Chemicals Industries, Bechtel International, Philippine Airlines, Canadian Embassy, Ugandan High Commission, Associated British Pictures and Metro Goldwyn Mayer.
Residential contracts were carried out on several of the Greek Island and in Switzerland, Kuwait, Nigeria and Uganda. One of the contracts encompassed internal design and furnishing of a 147 foot long ocean going yacht. Other credits include homes of celebrities such as Peter Sellers and Christopher Plummer.
Quentin Rance has developed his Los Angeles company and has been demonstrating the great versatility of design for which he is known. He has completed:
1. A gorgeous Southwestern home in Bel Air
2. A magnificent Tudor residence in Pacific Palisades
3. A California ranch house in the San Diego area
4. A dramatic contemporary apartment in Westwood
And also exclusive homes in Beverly Hills, Westwood, Hancock Park, Santa Monica, Newport Beach, Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and the San Fernando Valley.
Among the contracts presently being carried out is the remodeling of a lakeside home in Lake Arrowhead in the style of a Swiss chalet. The design includes carved paneling to the walls, paneled and hand decorated ceilings and a customized kitchen and bathrooms.
