My first career was as a medical Technologist. I graduated from Penn State and Medical College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science. I came to Los Angeles after the death of my mother and immediately got a job running the laboratory for three celebrity doctors in Century City. Being young and naive, I was exposed to a whole new Hollywood world. It scared me and I knew that seeing sick people 24/7 would not be my life’s work. I searched my soul and decided to enroll in design school. I attended the Designers’ Guild on Robertson Boulevard and UCLA.

I began my design business in 1979 and by 1986 it was a full-time career. My projects have ranged from set design for Clorox and Wesson Oil commercials to high end residential redesigns. I have created interiors for hospitals, dental and optometrists’ offices, apartment building lobbies and design houses. In 1994 I studied and received my contractor’s license. I realized that a woman could do better, be better organized and supervise her subcontractors better. I now operate a turnkey operation fully staffed for both construction and design.

My mission statement is: “We become like our environment and it becomes like us. It is important to choose an environment with care: one that is positive one that lifts us up and gives us wings to soar.”
